Bicycle on the brain

It has been awhile! facebook has consumed my blogging time. But it is a new year and I have new goals with the same crazy conclusion to acomplish. Get Lost in the Woods and desert! Always fun. Hoping to make it to Colorado this summer if i can save the cash which means limited racing. Or should i say limited entry fee races and licinceZ. it will cost me 175.00 bucks to purchase my usacycling lic. thats alot! i plan one doing a few southridge races and some in temecula (racers and chasers and the 12 hour series)I'll probaly try and do one 12-hour race but thats alot of cash!
Just going out and riding all day has been so much fun lately. Last week i climbed up 1n12 to A.O. in the snow. iI ran into snow around Thomas Hunting grounds, once i got up to Angelus Oaks it was super cold. from the fireroad you could look down and see were the single track buried in snow. CAN"T WAIT TIL THE THAW! once i got up to the store i was looking for something warm. They had a microwave but nothing to put in it. no hot pokets no nutthin. But the clerk did have some hot coffee on the house and that worked out perfect. Now i was warmed up abit and ready to head down Loc Leven (old hwy38) and down the hwy to the Mentone wash to ride some fun single track and then over to lower control. i pop out on to Greenspot rd. right before the bridge. from there it's 4-1/2 miles to my pad. super fun. o.k. ipod is chaeges , now it's time to put some food in my belly and go ride...late
