My weekend didn't end up the way i thought it would.I had planned on riding up radford rd. and coming down either Clarks or Manzanita.
I wound up just riding to Angelus Oaks via hwy38 doing a small loop with Team b.s. who had meet up at the gravel pit to ride the single track (2e03). Riding with a group just sounded like more fun than spending the day alone so thats what i did.
On the way home i went down Loc Leven and thats always a blast. then I got to hit up the single track in the mentone wash (across from Mill Creak forest station). This is some fun singletrack to ride. technical rocky and a lot of sand.It's a little over grown this time of year but still fun.
All n all it was a good day. I got a good 67-miles in just under 6-hours.Maybe
next weekend i'll make it up radford.

For the past couple of weeks have been tring to stay on the road bike as much as posible. Since my vacation i've comuted at least 3 times a week. Then one the weekend i'm getting at least three hours of riding a day.Thats giving me an average of about 150-200 miles a week.
Now its time two start doing the long miles in the dirt. This Sunday i'll be riding up Radford road to Big Bear. starting from my house in San bernardino. should be about a good 50-60 miles to snow summit.
I plan on leaving my house around 4:30 a.m. I should be at the Millcreek Forest station by at least 6:00 a.m. There I will pack up the lites and head up Loc Leven.
to all you mt. bikers doing the team big bear shootout i'll c'ya up there.
