Bicycle on the brain

I was able to get a couple of laps in at southridge on wednesday morning. the course is nice. Only changes will be at the start and finish due to the four cross course that they are putting in.
Should be a long day. Tom from team big bear says we'll be doing 7-8 laps. Start time is 7:00 a.m. for us marathon junkies. Also i'll be doing the open single speed class on sun.We'll see how that works out after 5-6 hours in the saddle fri. It should a wonderful painful experiance!

From my house to the gate is about a 14-mile climb. Some people call this ride a motha but it really isn't that bad. you can make a 35 + mile ride out of this if continue on 1n13 to 1n09 over to manzanita and come into E. Highland.Fun !

Lets just say i don't live in the nicest area of San Bernardino ca. but i'm about 3 miles from the local foothills which have numerous amounts of fire roads and single track that offer a variety of skills levels to work on.
i plain on doing my first solo 24 this year so i've been going out and riding at differnt times of the day.Since i work the graveyard shift i feel that i am always 24hr training.this sundays group ride (Team B.S.) was going to be behind cal state San Bernaardino and thats always a short 15 20mile ride. so i decided this would be a great morning to use the lights.
Kinda spooky out there all alone in the dark, but thats what makes life an adventure!
