San BernaGhetto National Forest
I just don't understand people and the way they think. Maybe it's up-bringing or maybe it's in the water. I'm riding up Elder gorge from East Highland and when I get to the 1n09 junction I come across this pile of crap, not the bear crap that I've seen behind city creek forest station but trash from lazy people. At first I thought it might be a gathering of trash from the area that someone or a group might have picked up but from the looks of it , it's just trash that was dropped off. I try my hardest to back this town up and post pics of this beutiful terrain that I love to ride but this is just upsetting. I tried to let the forestry know about this but the city creek office was closed on sunday. If I care so much am I the one that has to pic it up? I'm doing this ride again next weekend to see if it's still there or if more has been added to it. I guess if it bothers me so much, I'll probaly have to pick it up myself. Anyway lets talk about the rest of my ride. After climbing Manzanitta I headed down Hwy 330 to the city creek forest station were I tried to ride behind Highland and San Manuel Indian reservation and come down the fire road at the top of Del Rosa. It didn't happen . I rode about 1-1/2 miles if that and the trail just ended. I think it's just grown over and I didn't really feel like bushwakin since I paste I nice fresh pile of bear crap that was still a little steamy. So I turned around I headed down the hwy back to my little ghetto town. 36-miles of pedaling in 3hours not to bad.
