I've had the prevalage of riding loc leven to Angelus Oaks twice this week.The singletrack (2e03) was perfect and loc leven was the nicest i had seen it in years. Thursday i saw I mountain lion about 4-1/2 miles up from loc leven parking lot. It didn't really freak me out. I was by myself but it (he/she) took off in a hurry wanting nothing to do with me. Just another critter to add to my list of critters i've seen in the San Bernardino national Forest. Coyotes, Owls, Bears, Bobcats, the common rattlesnake seen every were in the summer, deer and now a mountain lion.They were here first and I'm just pass'n thru.
Then on Sunday, the Team B.S. ride was loc leven. Sweet i get to go to the mountains again this week. Summer has begun and time to ride in some elevation before fire season starts. We saw Joy from team Jose Ole out doing some secret training. Probaly should have told here about the kitty cat.

Cool Veeze, way to give me a heads up. Im riding solo with iPod and no weapons, and you just send me off into the forest. You would feel real bad if that kitty had eaten me! I saw one last year, but it was up behind the Post Office.
I would feel extremely bad. There was alot of traffic that day on the trail and i saw the kitty 3 days prier.I had already freaked everyone in my group out and i did't want to stress you out as well, plus I was enjoying the downhill and had forgotten all about the cat when we saw you.As soon as we took off to the car i said i probaly should have told ya.Sorry.How was your ride?
